Abstract

The hunting baths in the city of Leptis Magna are considered one of the most prominent architectural and archaeological landmarks left behind by Roman presence in North Africa. They are not merely silent stone remains, but rather a complete model of luxury and advanced architectural engineering. They also reflect aspects of social life during that era. The exceptional level of preservation that characterizes the baths adds great scientific and touristic value, making them one of the main destinations for anyone interested in Roman history or visiting Libyan lands.
