The vision and mission of organizations are fundamental elements that shape corporate identity and guide strategic operations within institutions. This research aims to explore how these elements are formulated and their impact on the overall performance of organizations, as the vision reflects the future aspirations of the organization, while the mission defines its fundamental purpose for existence.
The objectives of the research crystallize in analyzing the role of vision and mission in guiding organizational strategies and providing recommendations for improving their formulation in line with market demands and employee aspirations. Additionally, the research seeks to understand the relationship between the clarity of these elements and institutional performance, thereby enhancing organizations' ability to achieve their strategic objectives.
The main problem addressed by the research is how the vision and mission of organizations impact their performance and strategies, as many organizations lack clarity in these elements, negatively affecting their overall performance and ability to adapt to changes in the surrounding environment.
Therefore, the research is based on two main hypotheses: the first posits that having a clear vision and an effective mission contributes to improving organizational performance, while the second suggests that organizations with a strong vision and mission are more capable of achieving their strategic objectives.
The significance of this research lies in its role in enhancing understanding of how to effectively formulate vision and mission statements, as well as their direct impact on institutional performance. It highlights the necessity of these elements as strategic tools that contribute to guiding institutions toward success and sustainability.
