The Impact of Digital Transformation on Improving the Performance of Health Service Quality "An Applied Study on the Employees of Al Khums Medical Center"

This study aimed to analyze the impact of digital transformation and its main requirements (including organizational strategy, organizational culture, transformational leadership, and human resources) on enhancing the quality of health service performance. The empirical application of the research was conducted on the employees of the Medical Center in Al Khums (or Khoms).
The study adopted the descriptive approach to cover the conceptual and theoretical aspects, while the analytical approach was used to address the practical aspect of the research. Primary data was collected using a questionnaire; 45 forms were distributed, and upon review, 43 forms were found valid for statistical analysis.
The study concluded with a main finding: there is a strong, positive, and statistically significant effect of the combined requirements for implementing digital transformation on the improvement of health service quality performance in the studied Medical Center.
In light of these findings, the study recommended the necessity of having mature and effective leadership within the Medical Center, capable of efficiently handling information technology to control and elevate the level of services provided. Furthermore, it emphasized the importance of propagating a digital transformation culture by formulating a strategic plan that is implemented gradually and in phases, subject to continuous monitoring and evaluation throughout the execution period.
