Characteristics of historical writing by Cheikh Abdelaziz Thaalbi

Abstract

If Abdelaziz Thaalbi is known as a political and thinker in a religious science, he also had contribution to the Tunisian and Maghreb history. We try to deg into this aspect in order to precise the aspect of his historical writing as a known national figure conservative and illuminate.  Our intention is to see the implication of the political, culturel and scientific context of the 1st half of the 20 century. In other words, seeing the similarity and divergence between his method of writing and the method of his contemporaries.
