Elections represent a fundamental tool for strengthening democracy and enabling citizens to participate in political decision-making, especially in the Libyan context, where elections are closely tied to achieving stability and rebuilding the state after years of conflict. Nevertheless, the electoral process faces significant challenges, foremost among them the lack of clear electoral plans and programs presented by candidates, which leads to a decline in voters' trust. This reality fosters frustration and mistrust in political institutions and complicates the path toward a democratic transition. This study seeks to examine the impact of the absence of electoral programs on Libyan voters' trust and to explore how this affects political participation and societal stability.
